The statue of Buzz Lightyear that stands outside the Once Upon a Toy store entrance in Disney Springs was removed from its pedestal earlier this fall. It has now returned to its usual spot.
Buzz Lightyear Returns to Once Upon a Toy

As seen in the image above, the entrance to Once Upon a Toy in Disney Springs includes the Buzz Lightyear statue once again. Mr. Potato Head stands on the other side of the entrance on a container of Play-Doh to make him appear taller.

Buzz disappeared earlier this fall, likely due to a routine refurbishment. When he was removed, only his round pedestal remained attached to the concrete. It was covered with potted plants.

He does certainly look like he has a fresh coat of paint. There is also a sign on the blue pedestal that says “No Climbing.”

This is a similar process to what happened to Mr. Potato Head earlier this year. Back in July, Mr. Potato Head was removed and replaced with a single potted plant. The statue returned with a fresh coat of paint after a few weeks.
