Cars Land Construction Wall Installed in Haunted Mansion Graveyard

A construction wall is up at the back of The Haunted Mansion graveyard in Magic Kingdom, replacing construction markers that were placed in July. The construction is for the Magic Kingdom expansion including a Cars area.

The new wall is behind Madame Leota’s and other headstones, blocking some of the graves from view. There is a piece of scrim where the wall meets a brick column.

The wall extends to the side of the building beyond the fence. As we noted in our original post about the markers, this may be related to construction of a new pathway between The Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Construction walls have lined the rest of The Haunted Mansion's queue for months, blocking views of the drained Rivers of America, where the Cars area will be constructed.
