Two Disneyland Resort ticket booths are being demolished in front of guests’ eyes as Disney prepares for construction of the new Porto’s Bakery.
Disneyland Ticket Booth Demolition
Instagram user worldofscreams shared a clip of an excavator tearing apart a ticket booth as guests looked on. Usually, major construction takes place overnight when guests won’t see it, but it looks like Disney wanted to get this done quickly.
The ticket booths closed in November, and the city of Anaheim approved their demolition a few weeks later. They were located near the entrance to Downtown Disney District. The nearby La Brea Bakery is also being demolished to make way for Porto’s, which was announced in 2022 but delayed. The La Brea location was home to a temporary Earl of Sandwich for over two years.
Guests can still purchase tickets in-person at the Disneyland Lost and Found booth.
