Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park and Universal Volcano Bay water park are both closed today (Monday, December 15, 2025) due to inclement weather.

There are no hours listed for today on the webpages for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Universal Volcano Bay. Both are scheduled to open tomorrow.

It’s common for the water parks to close during cold snaps in the winter. Both closed in early November amid a Cold Weather Advisory. Typhoon Lagoon also closed for a couple days earlier in December. They were likely close on more days in the next month or two.
Guests arriving in 2025 and wanting to visit Typhoon Lagoon can enjoy water park admission on check-in day—included with their stay—and will want to keep these closures in mind. This perk has been extended into 2026 as well, but only in the summer.
