According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney’s exclusive Golden Oak community dominated the high end of Central Florida’s luxury home market in 2025 with eight of the ten most expensive home sales.

Three of the sales were located on the same street — Enchanted Oak Drive. Two were located on Vista Falls Drive. In 2024, five Golden Oak homes made the top ten list, with all five located on Summer Meadow Way. See the full breakdown of sales below, with the number one home selling in August for $23 million.

Walt Disney World established Golden Oak in 2011. It currently has about 300 homes in six neighborhoods. The concept of a Disney-owned community dates back to Walt Disney’s original vision for EPCOT and first came true with the founding of Celebration, Florida in 1996. Residents can purchase the exclusive Golden Oak Resident annual pass to Disney World and are also granted membership to the Golden Oak Club, which includes multiple restaurants, a pool, and a gym.

With such a low home inventory, those that go on the market are typically sold quickly. One home in particular sold in just one day on the market. Another home “sold for $15.75 million in September, representing the Orlando market’s largest home transaction in 2024.” It was placed back on the market in late January 2025, and sold for $14.5 million — landing at the number two spot this year.

This particular home is located at 10242 Summer Meadow Way, and is the former home of Hilda Bacardi, granddaughter of Bacardi rum founder Don Facundo Bacardi Massó. The home has a Star Wars-themed media room, as well as bedrooms with designs inspired by Finding Nemo and Frozen.
