Work continues at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort entrance and Aotearoa building. Construction on the new Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort entrance began in May 2025 and will continue into 2026.
Entrance Construction

The main update since we last reported on the construction is the new pavement being laid near the entrance.

We can see this new pavement between the entrance overhang and the upturned dirt in the photo above.

The new Polynesian Resort guard house is visibly in the distance. It is located along Floridian Way, which is the new roadway entrance to the resort. The current Seven Seas Drive entrance to the resort will become a bus-only entrance. Yesterday, we reported on an aerial photo which showed an overview of the entrance area construction.
Construction at the resort is scheduled to continue through 2026.
Aotearoa Building

Meanwhile, work continues around the resort. We checked out the latest progress of the Aotearoa Building. The roof appears to be largely finished as construction has descended to the staircase since our previous update.
