EPCOT Sets Up for New Year's Eve in Italy Pavilion

The Italy Pavilion in EPCOT is already getting set up for New Year’s Eve celebrations. Many of the World Showcase pavilions celebrate the new year with dance parties and DJs.

A large set of scaffolding is set up in the Italy Pavilion. Scaffold columns and beams connect to a ring over the stage. The columns are wrapped in scrim and sit in plant-filled boxes.

This scaffolding will support lights. The DJ will be on the stage, with dance space on the ground in front.

While the date is blocked out for most passholder tiers, Incredi-Passholders are still able to visit the parks for the busy holiday season. However, reservations are no longer available for December 31 at EPCOT.

Passholders may still be able to visit EPCOT on December 31, by park hopping or arriving at the park after 2 p.m. when a reservation is no longer required. Reservations are still available for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but Magic Kingdom is fully booked.

EPCOT will celebrate the new year with the Cheers to the New Year fireworks show at 11:54 p.m. on December 31. Luminous will also perform at 6:30 p.m.
