In celebration of 2026 New Year’s Eve, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World hosts the “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks show on December 30 and 31. Watch our full video of the fireworks show below.
2026 New Year’s Eve at Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom hosts two performances of “Fantasy in the Sky” every year, and the same is true this year. On December 30 and 31, guests visiting the park will have the chance to watch “Fantasy in the Sky.”
Two performances of the fireworks are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. on both dates. “Fantasy in the Sky” is a version of the first-ever Disneyland fireworks show that originally debuted in 1958. It performs for New Year’s Eve at Disneyland on December 31.

In addition to the fireworks, character dance parties take place in Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve on both nights.
Other 2026 New Year’s Eve Events
EPCOT hosts DJ dance parties in World Celebration and around the World Showcase on December 31 only. “Luminous The Symphony of Us” is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. before “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” begins at 11:54 p.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios hosts DJ dance parties and other live entertainment on December 31. This includes the Pixar Dance Party, special character experiences, and the New Year Countdown Fireworks.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom does not have any New Year’s Eve offerings and closes at 8:00 p.m. on December 30 and 7:00 p.m. on December 31.
