Happily Ever After has not been performed since December 22 due to holiday entertainment, specifically Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and the upcoming New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky fireworks on December 30 and 31.

According to the Walt Disney World website, the Happily Ever After fireworks show will return to Magic Kingdom on January 1, 2026, with a nightly 9:00 p.m. showing.

The performance time may shift later in spring 2026 when Daylight Saving Time begins, but for now, Happily Ever After will take place at 9:00 p.m.

Happily Ever After debuted at Magic Kingdom on May 12, 2017, replacing Wishes. It incorporates pyrotechnics, lasers, spotlights, and projection mapping on Cinderella Castle. The show closed on September 29, 2021, to be replaced by Disney Enchantment for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration. The latter show closed, and Happily Ever After returned in 2023. Its spotlights were updated last year.
