Walt Disney World has extended hours for Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom around New Year’s Eve.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will now open at 8 a.m. from December 28 to January 3, with early entry for resort guests beginning at 7:30 a.m. The park was previously scheduled to open at 9 a.m.
On December 28 and 29, the park will be open until 11 p.m. It will also be open until 11 p.m. from January 1 through 3. It was previously scheduled to close at 10 p.m.
On December 30, Magic Kingdom will be open until midnight. On December 31 (New Year’s Eve), it will be open until 1 a.m.
Fantasy in the Sky fireworks will be performed on December 30 and 31. Watch our video of Fantasy in the Sky below:
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now open at 8:30 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. on December 28, 29, 30, and January 1 through 3. Early entry begins at 8 a.m. It is still scheduled to open at 9 a.m. on December 31, with early entry at 8:30 a.m.
The park will still close at 9 p.m. from December 28 through January 3, except on New Year’s Eve, when it will be open until midnight.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open at 8 a.m. from December 28 through January 3, with early entry at 7:30 a.m. Closing has been moved from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 28 and 29.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 7 p.m. on December 30 and 31. It will close at 8 p.m. January 1 through 3. Extended Evening Hours on January 1 will now be from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
EPCOT
EPCOT hours have not changed. It will open at 9 a.m. the week of New Year’s Eve. It will close at 9:30 p.m. December 28 through 30. It will close at 1 a.m. on December 31. For the rest of the week, it will close at 9 p.m.
