Pete’s Silly Sideshow is now closing one day earlier than previously announced at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow Refurbishment

The Pete’s Silly Sideshow circus tent will be temporarily unavailable beginning on January 4, 2026. Originally, the closure was slated to begin on January 5.

Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy will greet guests elsewhere in Storybook Circus. Disney has not confirmed more details about the meet and greets.

The closure is likely for repairs to the Pete’s Silly Sideshow tent, which we recently reported was torn. In October, Disney filed two permits for Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Big Top Souvenirs. They both contracted Birdair, Inc., which specializes in tensile structures like canopies and roofing.
Disney has not stated how long the refurbishment will last.
