We spotted some rare characters roaming Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom on Wednesday morning, December 17. Though Cast Members did not confirm why the characters were appearing or for how long guests could expect to see them, the special appearances may be for the holidays.

Rapunzel and Flynn

We saw Rapunzel and Flynn Rider walking around Fantasyland, including through the Tangled area. Though guests can often meet Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall, Flynn usually only appears during special events.

Mr. Smee

We also saw Smee from Peter Pan near Peter Pan’s Flight. The characters are roaming around, not stopping for meet and greet lines. They also focus on kids instead of adults.

Rapunzel, Flynn, and Smee were also among the rare characters that appeared for Early Entry during Cool Kid Summer.
