Plants have been torn out and scrim now covers a flowerbed in the Canada pavilion at EPCOT.

The flowerbed is next to the stairs that lead from the Canadian Trading Post to the upper level of the Canada Pavilion. Green scrim now completely covers the bed, pulled taut and secured over the bed’s railings.

There were previously a couple of trees in this flowerbed, as well as foliage. Though you can’t see in these photos, we could tell through the scrim that the foliage had been removed. We could also see some exposed plastic pipes.

For comparison, above is how the flowerbed previously looked.

The Canada pavilion went through significant refurbishment in 2023 and 2024, with the upper level closed off for several months. It was closed again for work on a new Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center, Chateau de Voyage.
