Just in time to ring in the New Year, Walt Disney World Resort is adding some 2026 magic to PhotoPass. Now through January 4, these five new magic shots are available at select locations throughout Disney World—note that some shots are only available at night. We also found the New Year’s Eve photo prop as well!
PhotoPass Magic Shots
Mickey Balloons
This magic shot shows one guest holding a set of five Mickey-shaped balloons. Three of them say “2026,” and the others are dotted with gold, black, and white polka dots.
These images are available at the following locations:
- At the Magic Kingdom Park entrance
- Most locations facing the Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom
- Locations around EPCOT except in World Showcase
- At the entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Most locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Select indoor locations at Disney Springs
- Select Walt Disney World Resort hotels
Sparklers
This magic shot is only available at night and shows two guests each holding a sparkler. One sparkler is in the shape of Mickey’s head, and the other says “2026.” Both sparklers appear lit.
This PhotoPass magic shot is available at the following locations:
- At Magic Kingdom, on the right side of the Cinderella Castle hub area (Jan. 1-4)
- Near Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies at Magic Kingdom (Dec. 30 – 31)
- On the bridge leading to the Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom (Dec. 30-31)
- Main entrance of EPCOT
- Along Hollywood Boulevard near the fountain and The Trolley Car Café at Hollywood Studios
- Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs
Fireworks
This fireworks magic shot is also only available at night. It shows several fireworks shooting off into the night sky. On the left side, the fireworks form a hidden Mickey, and on the right, they spell out “2026.”

Confetti Poppers
In this PhotoPass magic shot, one guest is seen holding a confetti popper. The gold confetti that emerges is in circle, square, or Mickey shapes, as well as “2026.”

Confetti
The final new magic shot with Disney PhotoPass shows a guest blowing confetti towards the camera. This confetti is identical to the ones shown with the confetti popper in square, circle, and Mickey shapes, in addition to the “2026” pieces.

Photo Prop
We also spotted a brand new photo prop to celebrate the New Year. The prop is in the shape of Mickey’s head with a top hat placed between the ears. The gold and black prop reads “Happy New Year 2026” in white and gold text.
