Updated 2026 Magic Kingdom Guidemap Includes New Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Description

Magic Kingdom guests can pick up a brand new guidemap for the beginning of 2026 with updates regarding closures and reopenings throughout the park.

2026 Magic Kingdom Guidemap

On the guide’s cover is Mirabel on the Encanto float of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade. The previous guidemap’s cover had Elsa on the parade’s Frozen float.

Under the “Fantasy Reigns” header in the first fold are the same ads from the previous edition of the map for Disney Starlight, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, TRON Lightcycle Run, Happily Ever After, Emporium, Liberty Tree Tavern, and My Disney Experience.

The back of the guide lists park rules and payment options, followed by a Disney Vacation Club ad and a reminder to recycle the map. On another panel is information about guest services and transportation options.

The map and key have some changes reflecting recent updates to the park. The Beak and Barrel now lists “Mobile Dining Reservation Check-In available.”

Tortuga Tavern, located across from The Beak and Barrel in Adventureland, has been removed. It was previously listed as “Open seasonally.”

The new Astro Fizz snack kiosk in Tomorrowland has been added. Tomorrowland Terrace is no longer listed as “Open seasonally.” Its entry is now “Fireworks Dessert Parties at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.”

Though Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is still closed for refurbishment, it is no longer listed as closed on the map. It’s scheduled to reopen this spring — soon enough that Disney isn’t planning to print new maps.

Similarly, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is included even though it is also closed for refurbishment. It has an updated description, however. The previous guidemap said, “Fire lasers to defeat Zurg in this shooting gallery-inspired game.” The new map has the description, “Blast targets to score points and defeat Zurg in this interactive space adventure.” This seems to be an effort to remove more violent language.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Big Top Souvenirs have both been removed from Fantasyland. Pete’s Silly Sideshow is closed for a refurbishment. Big Top Souvenirs is still open but expected to close for refurbishment soon.

The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe restrooms are no longer marked, also indicating a possible refurbishment. The restrooms near Casey’s Corner and First Aid are marked again, despite still being closed for refurbishment.
