AEW World Champion MJF Interview

WDW News Today's Tom and Eric recently sat down with AEW World Champion MJF.

WDW News Today’s Tom and Eric recently sat down with AEW World Champion MJF to discuss wrestling and theme parks. MJF wasted no time insulting the hosts and his sarcasm continued throughout the entire conversation, but underneath the bravado, he had a genuine love for WDW News Today and the Disney and Universal theme parks.

Partway through, MJF talked about how much he loves negativity and eats it up. He lamented the loss of the “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!” show at Animal Kingdom (now replaced with the new “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” show), as it was one of his favorite things at the park. He loved watching people jump out of their seats when they got stung in the back. But after watching the new Zootopia show, he thought it was “horrible.”

Eric and MJF compared the replacement of the “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!” show with the changing of Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. MJF described how people often have a knee-jerk reaction to things from their childhood being changed, remarking, “How dare you touch this beautiful artifact?!”

MJF also discussed how he had not been to several of the international Disney Parks yet and described his confusion while navigating the Tokyo Disneyland website.

At the end, MJF promoted tickets for the AEW Presents Dynamite that will be happening on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 7:30 PM in Orlando, Florida. Tickets can be purchased here.
