Step inside Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios in an all-new episode of WED Walks by Walt Disney Imagineering. Watch as hidden secrets and stories are shared by some of the Disney Imagineers who built the attraction.
In the video, they begin by sharing that the attraction has more hidden Mickeys than any other attraction built at Walt Disney World.

They explain that one of the preshow rooms was built as a prototype and was tested out in the field before building the second room.

Never done at Disney, projection was married with UV prints with UV paint. They use a specific color, gray, called “Happy Color,” to project all of the scenes on.

An Easter egg shared in the video is that a crab, who goes by the name of “Crustacia,” is hidden in every scene in the attraction.

And they detail the challenges of printing on moving elements in the final scene as it transforms around you from a factory to a park before reuniting with Goofy.
