Crews have added more white framing to the new canopy in Avengers Campus, bringing it a little big closer to completion. The canopy will connect the new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.

Avengers Campus Construction

In the past week, crews have added more framing to the front end of the canopy, filling in more of the structure. During our recent visit, crew members were actively installing a piece that had just been lowered into place by a crane.

There is still a gap on the right side of the canopy. More framing will be added to the front of it over the next few weeks. The ride buildings for both attractions are now more hidden behind the canopy.

For reference, above is concept art of the Avengers Infinity Defense entrance. The canopy and part of Stark Flight Lab are on the right.

Other construction in Avengers Campus includes continued work on a new restrooms building. This is located between Avengers Campus and Cars Land, where there used to be a walkway.

Construction walls recently went up around the former Tower of Terror FastPass distribution station outside Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! but we have yet to see any work on the building.
