There is a new set of construction walls for an unknown project in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. While two new rides and restrooms are under construction near Avengers Headquarters, these walls are around the former Tower of Terror FastPass distribution structure.
Avengers Campus Construction Walls
Though FastPass went away years ago and Tower of Terror has long been Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, the FastPass distribution area remained mostly untouched. The FastPass kiosks and signage were removed but the paint scheme and Art Deco elements remained. The area has been used for covered seating.
Blue-gray walls now stretch from Pym Test Kitchen to the corner of the Disney Animation building, completely blocking the old FastPass structure.
Those Art Deco decorations and the red clock are still visible. Disney may have finally decided to tear this structure down or re-theme it to actually match the Avengers Campus area.
There is some space at the ends of the construction walls for cast members who need to get around them.
Avengers Campus is adding two new rides: Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. With these additions, the land will double in size.
