Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort announced details of their “Celebrate Soulfully” Black History Month celebrations.

2026 Celebrate Gospel Concerts at Downtown Disney


“Celebrate Gospel” concerts return to Disneyland Resort for two weekends: February 20-21 and February 27-28. For the first time, these concerts will take place at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
Grammy Award-winning gospel music performers will headline each weekend. Bishop Hezekiah Walker will perform on February 21 and Yolanda Adams will perform on February 28.
The event also features community choirs from across Southern California.
*NEW* Heritage Trail Honoring Black Leaders


The brand-new heritage trail of dynamic displays will celebrate influential Black leaders, artists, and thinkers from the past and present. These displays will be all across the resort. Here’s the list:
Disneyland Park
- Frontierland – Dom Flemons
- Main Street, U.S.A.– Martha Blanding, Frederick Douglass and Scott Joplin
- New Orleans Square – Leah Chase and Ron Husband
- Tomorrowland – Guion S. Bluford Jr.
Disney California Adventure Park
- Buena Vista Street – Floyd Norman
- Hollywood Land – Lanny Smoot, Austin Taylor, Marlon West and Olun Riley
Downtown Disney District
- Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage – Nikkolas Smith
The Martha Blanding display will remain up through Women’s History Month. Blanding is a Disney Legend who was a Disneyland tour guide in the 1970s.

- French Quarter Fried Chicken Bowl: Spicy honey-glazed fried chicken served with baked macaroni and cheese and collard greens

- New Orleans BBQ Shrimp: Cajun battered shrimp served with cheesy polenta, onions, peppers, celery and a New Orleans BBQ butter sauce
Celebrate Black Heritage at Disneyland All Year Long

Guests can celebrate Black heritage and culture all year long with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the Tiana meet and greet, Five & Dime performances on Buena Vista Street, Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje in Avengers Campus, and select appearances by Joe Gardner from Soul at Pixar Place Hotel.

Toya Johnson-Rushing Named Grand Marshal for Special Magic Kingdom Parade

On February 9 at Walt Disney World, a special parade moment will make its way through Magic Kingdom and officially usher in Black History Month festivities at Disney World, led by Toya Johnson-Rushing as honorary Grand Marshal.
Be sure to watch along the parade route — and down Main Street, U.S.A. — around 3 p.m. ET* for a joyful, high-energy celebration featuring beloved Disney characters, lively music, dazzling displays, and plenty of Disney magic.
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
