In a post on Instagram, Disney has shared what a few favorite villains might have on their New Year’s Resolution lists. It’s up to us to decide if they will succeed or become more villainous in their efforts.

Cruella

For Cruella, resolutions involve wearing more “faux” fur, and expanding her wardrobe color palette. She also looks to try not driving over the speed limit and more time designing.

Hades

Hades basically wants to stay cool by doing cold plunges, being less hot-headed, and staying cool under pressure. Less vengeance and more delegation might also help with more punishments that do not end in “sudden death.”

Scar

Scar wants to stop comparing himself to others, be a better team player, and be open to criticism. In classic Scar fashion, he also wants to work on more monologues.

Captain Hook

Captain Hook looks to let go of grudges, avoid planks as punishment, and be less materialistic while also wearing new hooks.

You can see these villains battling it out in a new stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” debuted on May 27, 2025. In the show, Disney Villains try to convince the audience who is the most misunderstood of all. Watch the full show below:
