It’s going to be a chilly start to the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts this weekend. While this past weekend had highs in the 80s, temperatures will drop to as low as the 30s later this week.
Cold Weather at Walt Disney World
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins on Friday, January 16. Thursday night will get as cold as 34°F. On Friday, the high is predicted to be 58°F, although it will thankfully be sunny.
That night, it will be as low as 39°F followed by a weekend in the 60s. It will be mildly windy on Friday and Saturday, followed by guests as high as 20 mph on Sunday (via the National Weather Service).
Of course, we are still a few days out, so the forecast is subject to change.
Disney already announced Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed for at least three days this week due to the cold snap. It may remain closed longer if temperatures are still low.
