Fantasmic Billboard Updated in Disney's Hollywood Studios

The faded Fantasmic! advertisement billboard in Hollywood Studios has been replaced with a newer version and is no longer an LED screen.

The billboard features Sorcerer Mickey as he battles Maleficent in her dragon form, the climactic scene in Fantasmic! The text reads “Disney Presents: Fantasmic! | ‘A Journey Beyond Your Wildest Imagination’ starring Mickey Mouse.” The colors are much more vivid and crisp.

Disney later added a row of lamps to the top of the billboard, illuminating it when it’s dark. For a few years, the Fantasmic! graphic was on a cover over an LED screen, which was used during the Sunset Seasons Greetings holiday projection show. The LED screen is now gone, however, and the billboard is just a billboard.

The billboard is located near the end of Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, near the entrance to the Fantasmic! amphitheater. The billboard is a refreshed version of the old cover, which was faded from the sun. You can see the comparison next to the picture from September 2025 on the right.
