Genie’s Magic Lamp Transported from Broadway to EPCOT for Festival of the Arts 2026

All the way from the bright lights of Broadway comes Genie’s magic lamp. This massive shimmering prop is now at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts.

Magic Lamp

Genie's magic lamp is now at EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts.

Unveiled in March 2024 for the 10th anniversary of Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway, the 14-foot-tall lamp usually lives on top of the marquee at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The lamp was designed to spin on the marquee and also spit smoke periodically, as if Genie himself were really inside.

The lamp is a 1200-pound replica of the lamp Genie uses in the show—down to the intricate pattern carvings. It was designed by Bob Crowley and built by NPARALLEL + Atomic Props.

Nearby, guests will be able to experience Once Upon A Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway, which is a new version of the exhibit that debuted in 2025. In CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT, authentic props and costumes from stage productions like The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast will be on display alongside photo-ops and behind-the-scenes insights.

Concept art includes Belle costumes and Beauty and the Beast set pieces, as well as The Lion King items that were not featured in last year’s exhibit.

Location

You can find the Genie’s Lamp during the festival across the walkway from CommuniCore Hall and Plaza.
