Chef Gordon Ramsay posed for a photo with Mickey Mouse and Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum during a visit to promote his upcoming Downtown Disney restaurant.
Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, California, is set to expand its culinary offerings with “Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby”, an all-new British-themed gastropub.
The concept, as detailed by Disney Parks Blog, is a collaboration between world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay and the creators of Earl of Sandwich. The restaurant will be situated on the second floor above a new Earl of Sandwich location within the shopping and dining district and is designed to evoke the vibrant, cultural energy of London’s famed Carnaby Street during the 1960s.
The interior and atmosphere of The Carnaby are intended to transport guests to the heart of the “Swinging London” era. Planned features include plush décor, iconic British pop art, and a soundtrack of British Invasion rock music. Patrons will be able to dine in a lively bar area, relaxed booths, or on outdoor terraces that overlook the district.

Menu highlights will reflect classic British fare that has defined Ramsay’s career, including his signature beef Wellington, traditional fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding.
In remarks accompanying the announcement, Ramsay emphasized the aim of bringing the “cool Britannia” spirit to the locale, positioning the venue as a destination for both casual dinners and social gatherings. An official opening date has not yet been announced for The Carnaby.
