We spotted a film crew in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios early Friday morning, possibly filming the upcoming Hallmark Christmas film Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True. The movie was announced last month, a year before its release, as filming kicked off around Walt Disney World.

A "Filming in Progress" sign states the production is titled Mistletoe and Magic, which may be the movie's codename. Or this could be for another Disney holiday project.

Filming is taking place now while Christmas decorations are up. Christmas decorations will come down next week, after the conclusion of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, so on-location filming will likely wrap soon.

We thought it was interesting that they were filming in Toy Story Land, though. The area isn’t necessarily considered a romantic spot you would highlight in a Hallmark movie. The filming comes just a few days after a new Popcorn and Snacks kiosk opened — meaning they may have waited until construction was cleared from the area.

Watch the announcement for Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True featuring Lacey Chabert below.

Alongside Chabert, the film will star Travis Van Winkle, Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Dufee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna in a cameo role.

The film will follow Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family on a magical Christmas vacation to Walt Disney World. Lindsey’s dreams of a jolly holiday get dashed when she discovers her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who’s also there on a family trip.
