There are now steel poles inside the framework of the Encanto ride building at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The ride is part of the new Pueblo Esperanza under construction to replace DinoLand U.S.A.
Encanto Ride Construction

The framing of the building has grown progressively bigger in the last few weeks. The steel inside the frame is the first sign of interior development.

The poles may be the beginnings of walls. Crew members were working on the interior when we took pictures on Thursday. They help show just how big the building is.

Though it’s just a frame right now, the Encanto ride will eventually have a Casita façade. The ride will be set during the film, although it will go beyond the original story.
DinoLand will officially close in early February with the permanent closures of DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus. Pueblo Esperanza, including the Encanto ride and an Indiana Jones ride, is scheduled to open in 2027.
