The live-action Lilo & Stitch, Andor, and Wicked: For Good are among the nominees for the 63rd annual International Cinematographers Guild Publicists Award.
‘Lilo & Stitch,’ ‘Andor,’ ‘Wicked’ Nominated for ICG Publicists Award

Variety reported the news, sharing that both Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch and Universal’s Wicked: For Good publicity teams are nominated for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for motion picture publicity. Those nominated include “unit publicists, individual publicists, studio publicists, as well as unit still photographers and members of the media.”

The other film nominees are KPop Demon Hunters, Sinners, and Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Meanwhile, the critically-acclaimed Disney+ series Andor is nominated for the flagship Maxwell Weinberg Award for Television publicity campaign. Andor is a prequel to the events of Star Wars: Rogue One and currently has two seasons on the streaming platform.

The live-action Lilo and Stitch was one of only two films to earn over $1 billion at the box office last year, the other being Zootopia 2.
Wicked: For Good, the continuation of the smash hit Wicked: Part One, performed well in preview screenings but did not have the blockbuster endurance of its predecessor, despite having a record 400-plus marketing brand partnerships to accompany its release. However, Universal says it is “figuring out” how to keep the Wicked franchise going.
