When World of Frozen opens at Disney Adventure World in March, guests will be able to meet Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle. Disneyland Paris shared an inside look at the castle.

The Rencontre Royale (“Royal Meeting”) will welcome guests into the castle for a private audience with the Queens.

In addition to the meet and greet with Anna and Elsa, guests can enjoy several paintings and Easter eggs. In the waiting area are two family portraits. One features the young princesses with their parents, while the other has them as adults with Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf.

The reimagined version of Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s famous painting The Swing is also on the wall. Anna dances in front of this painting during the “For the First Time in Forever” sequence of Frozen.
Emma Yeates, Senior Manager of Show Design at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, said this room “allows guests to truly feel transported into Arendelle Castle. From the wallpaper to the paintings, we recreated iconic elements seen in Frozen, along with portraits of members of the royal family to enhance this sense of authenticity.”

In the actual meet and greet room is a painting of King Agnarr, Anna and Elsa’s father, at his coronation. This room also includes the clock Anna sings with during the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” sequence.
“These are not the only hidden details found throughout the experience,” said Yeates. “It is full of references, to the universe of Frozen of course, and more! Our guests should keep their eyes open during their next visits…”
World of Frozen, including Rencontre Royale, opens on March 29, 2026. Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World on the same day.
