Magic Kingdom Welcome Show No Longer Performing With Characters Due to Cinderella Castle Painting

The Magic Kingdom welcome show, Let the Magic Begin, has been further modified due to the impending repainting of Cinderella Castle. The show stopped including fireworks earlier this month. Performance times are no longer listed on the Walt Disney World calendar, but the Let the Magic Begin music still plays.

Cinderella Castle is currently undergoing a magical transformation. Due to project work, Let The Magic Begin will be temporarily modified. While characters will not be making an appearance during this time, you will still hear the welcome fanfare and music to start your day at Magic Kingdom.

Let the Magic Begin happens at 8:55 a.m. before the park’s opening at 9 a.m.
