Glasses from the former MuppetVision 3-D attraction at Walt Disney World Resort were spotted in-use at another attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

MuppetVision Glasses in Toy Story Midway Mania

On a recent visit to Hollywood Studios, we spotted a familiar pair of frames in the queue for Toy Story Midway Mania.

Mixed in among the standard, unthemed orange 3D glasses typically offered for the interactive Toy Story attraction, one can see a variety of light purple frames mixed throughout.

These are the very same purple frames formerly used at MuppetVision 3-D on the other side of Hollywood Studios.

Infamously, it didn’t take long after the MuppetVision closure last year for resellers to abscond with some of these frames last year.

Regardless of their actual value to Muppets fans or parks enthusiasts, Disney appears to have retained some amount of their stock of glasses – and are not dismayed by the prospect of resellers taking off with a pair.

Elsewhere in the park, work continues on the new Monsters, Inc. area that will be replacing the former location of Muppets Courtyard.
