The new snack kiosk under construction at Universal Studios Florida now has roofing and wiring. The kiosk replaces Expo Eats outside Animal Actors on Location.
Snack Kiosk Construction
Construction walls first went up in this area in October and were later expanded. A green framework was installed in early December. Now the roof has green edges and sheathing. Wiring is exposed on one exterior wall and dangling from the overhang.
The kiosk has two sections. One side appears to be the actual building where team members will be stationed, while the other end is a gazebo, possibly a waiting area. The gazebo had a flat roof frame when we last got a look but it now has a two-tiered roof. The top tier has reddish-brown paneling.
A curved wall is behind the kiosk. This will likely separate it from flowerbeds.
The kiosk sits on a pad of concrete but the ground in front of it has yet to be paved. There is rebar framing on the ground where concrete will later be poured.
