Premiere Date and Teaser Trailer for Disney+ Star Wars Animated Show 'Maul - Shadow Lord'

Disney has announced the Disney+ premiere date for the new animated Star Wars show Maul – Shadow Lord and released the first trailer and poster.

The animated Star Wars show was announced back in April 2025 during the 20th anniversary Lucasfilm Animation Panel at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan. Sam Witwer reprises his role as the voice of Maul.

Disney released the first poster and trailer for the new show. The poster features Maul with his double-bladed red lightsaber and the show’s logo. Maul – Shadow Lord will premiere on Disney+ on April 6.
