Refreshment Port Closing for Refurbishment in EPCOT

The home for specialty poutines and soft-serve ice cream near the entrance to EPCOT’s World Showcase is closing for refurbishment. With the closure, the popular snack stand will be missing from one or more EPCOT festivals.

Refreshment Port Refurbishment

According to the Walt Disney World refurbishment calendar, Refreshment Port will be closed for a refurbishment beginning on January 12. Currently, the location will be closed through March 3, although that is as far as the calendar goes at this time. Disney has not released a statement on the closure.

With the refurbishment, it is possible that a specialty poutine will not be on the menu for the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The festival runs from January 16 until February 23, 2026 this year.

Last year, a Caprese Poutine, Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Blood Orange Cosmo were offered at Refreshment Port for the festival. Menu items that are typically offered at this location could be moved or not offered at all. Full menus have not been released at this time.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins on March 4 this year, just a day after the last currently available calendar date.
