Reimagined Sleeping Beauty Model & Outdoor Area Debut at Downtown Disney LEGO Store in Disneyland
A royal build fit for Downtown Disney!
The iconic LEGO model of Prince Phillip battling Maleficent atop Downtown Disney’s LEGO Store has been restored with new elements. There’s also a new outdoor interactive area alongside the statue.
Prince Phillip vs. Maleficent LEGO Build Restored
We got our first look at Prince Phillip’s new castle turret base and a decorative Sleeping Beauty shield in December 2025, when the white construction walls around the model were partially removed.
Today, the Downtown Disney Instagram account shared a photo of the “reimagined” build, which also reveals green dragon fire and thorny black vines encircling the turret. These new elements are molded and not constructed from LEGO bricks.
Outdoor LEGO Interactive Area
A new outdoor shopping area with bins of bricks was also revealed. This is described as a place for “interactive moments,” but no further details were provided.
