A second permit has been filed for the Haunted Mansion attraction at Magic Kingdom. However, Disney has not made an announcement about what could be taking place.
Haunted Mansion Permit

Disney World filed a permit on January 13 for “General Construction.” MLC Theming is the contractor for this permit, whereas the first permit is with Mecca Productions to “Install set elements.” Mecca is a design, fabrication, and installation firm that frequently collaborates with Imagineering.
MLC THEMING, INC. is a creative, specialty construction company located in the greater Orlando, FL area. With our roots stemming from Ireland, we have served the theming industry since 1985. We are masters of our trade, including scenic painting and aging of structures, fabricating facades, carving rock work, and more.
Now, we have permits for thematic elements as well as general construction. Disney has not announced any changes to The Haunted Mansion and the permits may not be for anything major, but we will share if they do. There is construction ongoing by The Haunted Mansion queue related to the park’s new Piston Peak.
