When Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983, it was the first international Disney park, so welcoming 900 million guests is a huge milestone, especially considering that Disneyland just celebrated its billionth guest in July 2025, and it was celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Duffy and friends are also celebrating a milestone anniversary at Tokyo DisneySea. The 20th anniversary celebration called Colorful Happiness began on April 8, 2025, and will run through March 19, 2026. Guests can still enjoy the themed décor, merch, treats, and the boat parade with Duffy and all his pals for a few more months.
