After crews removed the Lightning Lane and wait time signs from the Disney Jr. dance party entrance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they removed the light-up Mickey ears.
Disney Jr. Dance Party Sign

Until the morning of January 6, there was a Mickey ear hat-shaped element on top of this archway. The ears are now gone, leaving just two support posts connected by a piece of metal. The edge of the Mickey ears had neon lighting, which was disconnected along with the wait time and Lightning Lane signs.
Lettering was removed from the sign previously. Its columns were also stripped of purple and silver paneling, as seen in our pictures of the archway below.

The theater was originally a quick-service restaurant but opened its first Disney Jr. (then Playhouse Disney) show in 1999. The most recent iteration of the show was Disney Jr. Play and Dance! This was replaced last summer by the temporary Get Animated! dance party, resulting in decorations being added to the entrance.
Get Animated! and Animation Courtyard closed last summer. They will reopen this summer, with the courtyard reimagined into the Walt Disney Studios lot. Replacing the old dance party will be the new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, which first opened at Disney California Adventure last year.

Concept art for the reimagined courtyard indicates the archway will be relatively bare, lacking wait time and Lightning Lane signs. The new show may not have a posted wait time and Lightning Lane, or may have a different entrance and the archway will be repurposed.
The courtyard will also debut a new version of The Magic of Disney Animation.
