Tortuga Tavern Restaurant Removed From Magic Kingdom Park Map, May Be Closed Permanently

Tortuga Tavern is missing from the new Magic Kingdom park map. The quick-service location had been open seasonally, as indicated on the previous park map.

Tortuga Tavern Removed From Map

While the previous park map claimed it was open seasonally, as it was in the years before, the reality is that Tortuga Tavern hasn’t opened since 2024. It temporarily operated as the Tortuga Treasures gift shop due to construction at the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop in the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar.

Pictured below is the park map after The Beak and Barrel opened.

And, here is the new map showing that the restaurant has been removed.

The restaurant was previously scheduled to reopen in January of 2025, but this was delayed indefinitely, despite having its outdoor seating recently fully redone with new flooring. The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe restrooms have also been removed from the map, which share the same building with Tortuga Tavern.

On the other side of the Adventureland, new Beak and Barrel merchandise recently appeared at the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar. Check out our tour of the new lounge, and watch our full review below, or read it here:
