When you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, one of the items that may fall to the bottom of the list is food budgeting. For many planners, that’s when the Disney Dining Plan comes in handy.
This guide will walk you through the two types of dining plans, what they include, and where you can use them.
2026 Disney Dining Plan
What is a Disney Dining Plan?
Disney Dining plans allow you to, essentially, pre-purchase your food and beverages for the week. They provide a set number of meals, snacks, and a refillable mug for use during your Disney World vacation. The numbers depend on how many nights you are staying on Disney property.
As a note, dining plans are currently not available at Disneyland Resort.
Free Dining Plan for Kids in 2026
Families that book a Walt Disney Travel Company package (which includes a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and tickets to Walt Disney World can get a free kids’ dining plan. Packages are eligible when no other promotions or offers are applied, and a dining plan is purchased for all other guests age 10 and older. The kids’ dining plan depends on what dining plan is purchased for the rest of the party.
2026 Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
Adult (Ages 10+) – $60.47
Child (3-9): $26.16 or FREE
All party members over the age of three receive:
- 2 Quick-Service Meals (per night of stay)
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
The refillable drink mug can be filled for free at any Disney World Resort hotel. They are not eligible for free refills at the drink fountains in the parks.
Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Like Cinderella’s coach and ensemble, the credits expire at midnight on the day of checkout. Meals include a beverage, which can include beer, wine, and cocktails.
Dining plans must be purchased for the whole length of stay for the entire party (for party members 3 and up).
