Vertical Progress Continues on ‘Encanto’ Attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Earlier this week, we reported that additional framework was being added to the forthcoming Encanto attraction in Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. That framework construction continues vertically.

The newest section of the framework, the shorter section on the left side, has recently had parapets added on the back side. These parapets were not there earlier this week.

The newest section of the framework, the shorter section on the left side, has recently had parapets added on the back side. These parapets were not there earlier this week. A parapet is the portion of an exterior wall that extends above the roofline, most commonly seen on flat or low-slope roofs. It’s common in commercial buildings.

Guests are also now able to see additional parapets being added on the far back wall and right side of the taller framing. It did not appear that these were present last week when the forward-facing parapets on the front side of the building were added.
