Construction on the new Pueblo Esperanza of Disney’s Animal Kingdom appears to be moving along at a steady pace.

During our latest visit to the park, we noticed the framework of the upcoming Encanto-themed attraction received a sizable expansion outward.

In the images featured here, over the construction walls, the older portion of the structure can be seen to the right.

A handful of works can be seen on the highest level of the framework, while an excavator is seen parked below.

The newest section of framework is shown jutting out from the taller portion. It can be seen expanding towards the current walking path.

It’s unclear if the new framework will cap out at its current height, or rise further to match the preexisting structure.

The Encanto attraction will open with the official debut of Pueblo Esperanza in 2027. The land will also feature a carousel.

In our most recent report on developments in the new area, we took a look at various aerial photos shared by X user @bioreconstruct.
