A Cast Member who performed at Disneyland as the Evil Queen and other characters for eight years is no longer with the company, People reports.
Viral Evil Queen No Longer at Disney

Sabrina Von B. performed as the Evil Queen at Disneyland for eight years. She has also run a successful and frequently viral TikTok account sharing videos of her personal life and time as the Evil Queen. In an interview with People, the former Cast Member shared that her time with Disney was a “dream.”
“It was a dream getting to do my own spin on a character that really wasn’t popular or viral or well-known before videos of me really started going around,” the 27-year-old tells PEOPLE. “I read a lot of comments about people saying they would’ve never loved this character, but now it is their favorite character.“
“That really was an honor to be able to bring a Disney villain to life, and also not be evil, but put a more comical spin on it and create joy for people and make people smile, all while being a villain, was very rewarding.“

From the age of 18 to 26, the character performer spent time as Maleficent, Agatha Harkness, and Lady Tremaine. However, most of her time was spent as the Evil Queen. In the exclusive interview, Von B. shares that sometimes her own reaction would surprise even herself:
“Sometimes I would surprise myself with witty comebacks that I would come up with, and then I would try it on guests,” she tells PEOPLE. “I would be like, ‘Oh, I can keep that in my arsenal.’ I really open that door on stage, and I don’t look back, and the Queen takes over.”
Reportedly, this led to some controversy with the “character” telling visitors to complain at Guest Relations, shown in some social media clips. Von B. even admits to the challenge of balancing her internet and park personas:
“With Disney, it is a bit scary because they want to protect the magic, and in the comments, people were trying to get my identity,” she shares. “It is scary because Disney wants to protect the magic, and I’ll say that I protected the magic all the way until the end, and I never came out publicly and said like, ‘This is me,’ or anything until they ultimately let me go. That’s when I spoke out publicly on it.”
After being let go, she took to TikTok to share that she had, in fact, been the Evil Queen. See the video posted on December 15:
The video has nearly 850 thousand likes. Reflecting on being the Queen and going viral, Von B. shares how interacting with families year after year makes her fortunate and grateful for the experience.
“I’m more on the shy end, surprisingly, but getting to just create that character who is so confident, and all the characters I got to play are very confident…it’s so lovely to be such a confident character for little girls and little boys to look up to,” she continues. “It also helps and helps me as a person really grow, and that spark that the Queen has in her, it lives in me.”
The former Cast Member looks to ‘bigger and better things’ and is ready to ‘dive headfirst into [her] craft.’
In late 2025, online posts fueled rumors that the popular villains and Evil Queen characters would no longer be appearing year-round at Disneyland.
The sources of the rumor came from social media posts circulating on Instagram, TikTok, and X where the Evil Queen character herself was captured in Disneyland telling guests to “go complain,” “tell them you want me, specifically, all year round”.
It was later confirmed by mickeyvisit.com that the characters were there to stay, “A Disney representative has confirmed with us that Disney Villains characters are not being discontinued at the parks.”
It is not clear if this video or other viral incidents are the cause of Von B.’s release as a character performer at Disneyland Resort.
