There’s a new display of One Hundred and One Dalmatians artifacts from the Walt Disney Archives in the Carthay Circle Lounge at Disney California Adventure. This comes after the film’s 65th anniversary last month.
101 Dalmatians Display

A display case is lined with a backdrop inspired by the sketch-style backgrounds of the animated film. A Walt Disney Archives placard is at the top of the display.

Hanging on the inner wall is an animation cel of dozens of Dalmatians. This is from the film’s opening credits.

The original 1958 story treatment by Bill Peet is in the corner. Peet ultimately wrote the film’s screenplay — the first time a single person wrote an animated Disney film. It was based on Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians.

There’s also a model of Cruella De Vil’s car. Though the car is red in the film, the model depicts it as black with red lines across the hood and a red interior. “CD” is on the hubcap.
