The Angola colobus monkey exhibit at the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail in Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World reopened on February 23, 2026.
Angola Colobus Monkey Exhibit Reopens

We last reported earlier this month that the walls surrounding the exhibit had started coming down, exposing all the new wood platforms, bridges, and nets that were installed as part of the months-long refurbishment. The Angola colobus monkey exhibit sign is now visible since our last report.

Another view of the enclosure shows the new bridges, platforms, and netting for the monkeys to play on.

Signs posted around the exhibit show pictures of the Angolan colobus monkey and information about the species, such as their black-and-white coloring and where they naturally live.

Another sign posted nearby explains that this area of the park has been set aside for the care and rehabilitation of endangered African animals.

On one of the hanging wood platforms, we were able to see one of the Angolan colobus monkeys sitting upright.

Later on, we spotted two monkeys sunning themselves next to each other on one of the hanging platforms.
