More gray paint has appeared on Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, as the project of restoring it to its classic gray color scheme continues.
Cinderella Castle Repainting
In the above picture of the northeast corner of the castle, you can see that this section is almost completely gray, where it was pink a few days ago.

Here, above, was that same section for comparison.
This wide view of the castle shows the newly painted area center left.

Another detail we noticed today is that the rings on the turret, on the right in this photo, have been painted a light shade of gray.

Here is a close-up of that turret and its freshly painted rings.
Cinderella Castle
Cinderella Castle was previously two different shades of gray with light blue tower roofs and some gold trim. In 2020/2021, the castle was painted a new shade of gray, pink, and royal blue with extra gold trim for the park’s 50th anniversary. Disney announced in the summer 2025 that Cinderella Castle would be restored to its classic color scheme.

Because of the castle painting, Happily Ever After has been modified, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is performing only in the afternoons and without pyrotechnics, and Let the Magic Begin is only music. There may be more changes as the painting progresses.
