Two columns on a wing of guest rooms are now a pale color. It looks like they have been stripped of their old paint and/or painted with primer.

The backs of the columns were either already repainted or are still brown. The columns will likely be fully repainted a natural brown color in the next few days. Crew members weren’t actively working during our visit, but there was a lift parked nearby.

Scaffolding removed from Wilderness Lodge building

During our last construction update, crews were painting columns and working on the roof at this back corner of the lobby. That work has wrapped up and the area is now clear of construction materials. Scaffolding has also been removed from one end of a building, as seen above.
