Want to literally walk in the footsteps of Walt Disney? A new D23 all-day experience will take guests to Walt’s most important locations throughout Southern California.
Walt’s Los Angeles Tour

According to the D23 website, the tour is an exclusive experience presented by the Walt Disney Archives. This 12+-hour walking and shuttling tour will take guests to Walt’s office, the Imagineering campus, the Carolwood Barn, and beyond:
- Breakfast at The Walt Disney Studios lot.
- A visit to Walt Disney’s historic office suite—preserved as it was during his lifetime.
- A visit to the legendary Ink and Paint department.
- A tour of Walt Disney Imagineering and lunch at its Creative Campus.
- A special visit to Walt’s Carolwood Barn.
- Stops at several locations of personal significance to Walt, including the location where the contract that started The Walt Disney Company was signed—and his first studio on Kingswell Avenue.
- A tour of one of Walt’s homes.
- A private dinner experience at one of Walt’s favorite restaurants.
- Shopping opportunities at the Disney Studio Store, The Walt Disney Company Store, and Mickey’s of Glendale.
- Gifts made exclusively for Walt’s Los Angeles Tour.
The tour will be held on April 9, 2026. Tickets are $1,999 per person for D23 Gold Members — who may also reserve a ticket for one guest — and go on sale February 27 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. Note that participants must be aged 18 and over, ECV vehicles are not allowed on the tour, and travel and accommodations are not included.
