In collaboration with AdventHealth for Children and Starlight Children’s Foundation, Disney brought the beloved Tangled princess to visit patients and engage with them through crafts and storytelling.
Rapunzel Visits AdventHealth for Children

The Disney Parks Blog shared the heartwarming story. Rapunzel brought the children Disney Princess-themed hospital gowns, crafted lanterns and colored with them, and shared stories about her adventures with Flynn Rider, Pascal, and Maximus.

These visits are cherished by both the patients and their parents. The family of four-year-old Azalea Marbury, who is receiving treatment for leukemia, expressed their appreciation for the outreach:
“Azalea loves dressing up like a princess, so with the Starlight hospital gowns she gets to express herself and feel a little more at home,” said Azalea’s parents. “Events like today just brighten her day. She gets to dress up, have fun, and meet Rapunzel. She gets to be a normal kid again.”
Azalea’s parents will be running for Team Starlight at the 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, taking place at Walt Disney World from February 26 to March 2. Starlight Children’s Foundation is the event’s celebrated charity.

Starlight Children’s Foundation
Disney has worked with Starlight Children’s Foundation for 25 years. The partnership brings Disney characters, toys, and themed hospital gowns to children in hospitals across the country.
“We’re honored and grateful to have a longstanding relationship with Disney in helping us advance our mission of delivering happiness to seriously ill kids and their families through programs that unleash the power of play,” said Adam Garone, CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation.
