Disney Adventure Arrives in Los Angeles

The Disney Adventure cruise ship has arrived at the Port of Los Angeles as she slowly travels to her homeport of Singapore.

Residents saw the Adventure arrive in the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro late Sunday night and early Monday morning. We visited the port on Monday evening.

Through the windows at the back of the ship, we could see the Hollywood Spotlight Club Restaurant. Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie figures are on the stern.

In the evening, the crew turned the ship around to prepare for her departure at midnight. We enjoyed the view of her fully illuminated.

The Adventure set off from Bremerhaven, Germany in early January. It visited Port Canaveral later in the month, reportedly for crew training. She then swung through Curaçao for fueling and provisions before setting a record as the largest ship to cross the Panama Canal.

Bob Iger and Josh D’Amaro also reportedly toured the ship while it was docked.

The Adventure is the largest Disney Cruise Line cruise ship, accommodating about 6,000 passengers.

From LA, the Adventure will continue on to Tokyo and then Singapore. She will set off on her maiden voyage on March 10. The Adventure will sail exclusively at-sea cruises out of Singapore.
